New Employees Orientation
All employees undergo several orientations before they begin work, including:
- Environmental
- Health
- Safety and security
Government statistics show that new employees who do not have experience with their new duties and/or their new work environment are much more likely to be involved in incident and injury.
Ongoing Trainings
Trainings don’t conclude with new employee orientation; employees also receive more than 1,300 man hours of annual training on such topics as:
- Portable fire extinguisher training
- Lockout/Tagout training
- Hazard communication training
- Hazardous material handling training
- Electrical hazard awareness training
- Personal protective equipment training
- Spill response training
- First Aid/CPR & AED training
- Emergency evacuation training
- Forklift training
- Stormwater awareness training
- Respirator training and fit-testing
